Admissions
We are delighted that you are interested in Twyford St Mary’s School. We are an inclusive primary school for children aged 4-11 and welcome all families into our community.
Visiting the school
We hold open mornings throughout the Autumn Term for the following year’s Year R admissions. For Year R admissions for September 2025 please see the attached poster open day information for more details.
If you cannot make one of these days, or if you are interested in a school place for a child who is NOT in Year R, we are always very happy for you to visit us – at any time of the year – for a tour of the school led by the Headteacher. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.
Admissions process
All admissions for Year R entry (for children who turn 4 years old before 1st of September) are managed by Hampshire County Council. All other admissions are managed by the school. Please see our admissions policy for more detail on Year R entry and entry for other pupils.
We are currently able to admit 20 children in each new Year R cohort. This is known as our Published Admission Number (PAN) and is set by Hampshire County Council. The deadline for primary applications is usually in January of the year of entry. Please check here for this year’s deadline.
Please see our admissions policies for the coming year and next for more detail on the admissions process and how places are allocated.
If you are interested in a place for a child not in Year R, please contact Mrs Emmett in the school office directly.
